Oil filter to use with a ZC

Hello all. Need some help on getting info on what oil filter to use with a ZC motor as its time to do my oil change on my 90 civic.

And is it the standard 4.5 liters oil I put I put in?
What torque setting do I use for the washer/nut.?

Thanks in advance

Just tighten till you feel the crush washer give...that's it. The oil filter, screw in by hand, and hand tighten...don't use a wrench to tighten it. Put in 3 liters, then let it sit... then check and top off...

As for filter I've heard diff't things like 1988 Integra ones working... but considering that most everything else is just like a D-series, I don't see why any d-series wont' work... just remove it and go shopping with old oil filter in hand

for the oil filter you need an 89 integra filter
For oil, it's just a bit under 4 litres. You will have a bit remaining in a 4 liter jug.
For the bolt I just tighten it until it's tightened ok and be very careful not to overtighten it. Not sure about the torque dimensions though

MBsi, can you tell me why a reg D-series oil folter won't work? Cuz I mean, how long are they gonna have 89 integra filters around, ya know?

bbarbulo I was told the the d-series won't work and they recommended not to use it so i haven't been, not sure on the theory of why not but if I find out I will definetly let you know and I doubt they will run out of parts from a car made in 89.

Use the teg one but if you want to listen to others then go ahead, what do I know

what do you mean speed rating? Are they supposed to blow at a certain speed or something? What are you intending? You trying to kill me?

SOHC ZC......uses tyhe SAME filter as the "d" motor. 3.5 liters of oil, give or take 100 ml.

As for the speed rating....what the hell are you on?

94EG6HB got the ticket......what he wants to know is.......the tires that you now have on your car (that you got from him), what does it say on the sidewall? (even I got it the first time. )

They all use the same oil filter...

eg.
d series uses the same oil filter as b series, etc.
