Oil coming out when spraying radiator with water

Hi all,

I was washing my car today with a spray hose, and when I was spraying water at my radiator today through the opening of the front bumper, I noticed that the water that are dripping down and sliding down my driveway has oil in it, and a lot of it.

My car was cool when I washed it.

Does anyone know what is wrong with it?

Thanks!

obviously you have a small leak somewhere. Pretty much every high km motor has a tiny oil leak somewhere, weither it be from the oil pan gasket, rear main, cam seal, valve cover, etc.. generally speaking if it isnt a major leak I wouldnt worry about it. Have you noticed any oil drops on your driveway at all? It could of just been grease/oil build up on your motor

Thanks Chris. The car had a faulty headgasket two months ago and was replaced with a new one, and yes, the motor has 230,000 km on it already.

I have never seen oil drops on the driveway at all, that is why I find this a bit weird.

well in a few days.. jack the car up and look for oil leaks. If you dont see anything you know it was just build up on your motor.
