the good thing about seized up cars is they are a good learning experience, u start develeping good tactics at getting off seized bolts and keeping them from snapping and stuff.

you also learn after the first couple of times how to manage your anger afterwards. my fairly new car hates me in the same way and it has been maintained very well.

Your trying to do an engine swap and can't remove a lower ball joint?

Maybe you should get a bigger hammer.

Honestly. Unthread the nut until it flush with the bolt heat on the balljoint. Wack with a decent size hammer until it comes out. This way won't damage the threads too much (If your going to reuse it)

Hint: CT has a loan a tool program. Ie. ball joint remover

*if I seem a bit like an a$$ I had to get stiched (10) up today and my meds are wearing off. .
