You MUST use octane booster with EVERY TANK, regardless of what you drive... if you have a Topaz, it's better to use EVEN MORE!!! Civics generally like 3-4 bottles per tank. It's is sometimes good to add it to your OIL TOO!! It lubricates and protects the cylinder walls, coating them with octane, so you get EVEN MORE PERFORMANCE, and it's made by NOS, which also makes and markets NAAAAAWWWWWSSSSS, so you KNOW they are all about speed and sex appeal. If you don't use 3-4 bottles with EVERY TANK you will never get laid again

you mean anymore than 4 bottles your engine might blow up??
and you need to add 3-4 to notice it or is that just for max performance??
Gonna try to add it to my oil instead of normail oil treatment to see if it really works! I have used Z-MAX before for my engine etc... it works.. is this NOS octane booster much better???

Ok, to clarify my previous comment, you WILL NEVER GET LAID IF YOU ARE NOT USING NOS OCTANE BOOST
LOL j/k

Look folks... once and for all, octane in chemical terms is an actual chemical compound of hydrocarbons in a straight chain of 8 molecules... I forget what bonds they form (been a while since OAC Chem class, ya know), but that's what it is...
In terms of 87, 89, 91/92, and 94... and 106 at some McEwin pumps... octane rating is knock resistance.... not energy, not detergents, not quality... but knock resistance. Which translates into volatility. The higher the octane rating, the lower the volitility of the fuel. So it is less likely to explode on it's own w/o the aid of spark. Uncontrolled combustion in the chamber is called detonation, ping, knock, preignition.... whatever you wanna call it. It sounds like metal on metal knocking. It can result from excessive carbon buildup, improper ignition timing, high compression, poor combstion chamber design, improper heat range spark plugs, and yes... poor fuel grade, as well as low engine speed and high load. A stock Honda engine that is not a GSR, SiR or Type R will run 87 all its life. The high perf motors can do 92+ octane and will run best on it. Any high-po car from the factory will use premium grade fuel...it's tuned for just that. A modded motor, you should run premium, cuz now you have no idea what the cylinder pressures and combustion dynamics are like... so you start with the best fuel, and tune it so there is no knocking by varying ignition and spark plug ranges. A motor with stock internals and bolt ons SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A STOCK MOTOR unless you played with your timing which you should not have done if you don't know what you are doing.
