obd1 help p76

obd1 conversion help
ok here's the problem
i got a 1998 d16y7 with a y8 head, its an automatic
i went out and got an obd2- obd1 conversion harness and a
p76 automatic ecu
the ecu code is 37820-p76-901
but the ecu is throwing codes like...
IAC Valve (Idle Air Control) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
which doesn't show up when i use my stock obd2 ecu?
alos my transmission locks into park with the obd1 ecu gives this code..
Automatic Transmission Lock Up Control Solenoid Valve defective circuit or unplugged / defective solenoid valve
any idea why im getting these codes?
