Could you boys point me in the right direction for a chart similar to this one http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=2 that shows which engine is obd 1 or 2 etc..?

OBD (On Board Diag)is a GM term. Usually all vehicle's are noted before 1991 are non OBD 1991 - 1995 are OBD 1 and anything after 1996 is OBD 2.
