o2 simulator
well both my o2s are in the downpipe right now after the turbo went in. Seeing if any of you guys have any experience with the o2 sims and if they work well.
I've seen 2 kinds, seems some are just a wire with a resistor and some are a direct plug which loops in and hten back out Wanna get it in the car before I take her back out in the spring. Seeing what the best route to take is. Due for emmissions when it comes out hehehe. There IS a cat on it. |
from what ive found looking around at the o2 simulators they are only meant for replacing secondary o2 sensors and cant be used to replace the primary one which needs to send a signal that goes up and down.
correct, what im' trying to do is simulate the 2nd one which tells if the cat is good or not. the primary o2 is still there and intact before the cat.
why not just get an OBD1 ecu and tune ur car correctly.... it'll be better off for the long run
^^^^ Agreed the O2 sim will work, but I believe the OBD 1 ECU is a better option for tunning and annoying CEL's. Trust me, I use to make them.
