O2 sensor placement
Im goin to get my exhaust done tomm at JPG and am getting the d16y8 manifold put on and a rsx cat. The rsx cat i got comes with both O2 sensors on the cat, one jus b4 the cat and one in the middle of it. My question is will the computer still read the proper readings? And im planning to use the rsx O2's, which hopefully it'll work. Thanks

it should work but might be off with the cat 02 sensor....there should be one before and one after...and your car woudl run liek **** cause it could not run in closed loop adn read off the o2's for the a/f settings so it woudl run in open loop and take readings from TPS MAP and ECT adn basically run like ****...it will run just not good and yoru fuel economy woudl be horrible

Running an EFI car without an Oxygen sensor is much like putting diesel fuel in your tank. Ain't good and wasn't meant to be.
JPG knows what they're doing, they relocated my O2 sensor waaay the heck near my cat. Did a clean wiring job and my ECU never knew what hit it.

ok i got the cat installed and everything, now the problem is that im throwing a code 5. I have swapped the map sensor and still its throwing the code. So i took the throttle body off and clean out the passage for the MAP. Its only thrown this code after the O2 were changed, can the O2's be causing this code 5? what else should i look at?
