It could work on a lawnmower...it was first used in WWII by germans on their aircraft to outrun other airplanes. The automatic tranny may not agree though...if you wanna keep the auto tranny, check out Level 10 Honda FWD auto trannys.

My point exactly...autos are okay, but not really made to handle the kind of shock that NOS could place on it. You can get the progressive engagement kit, but it's more $$$, and well... you still have a slushbox and two pedals I think you really need to reconsider your options. Eventually, your tranny will blow up anyways with any real additional power adders.

Well, there is a guy in the club that has run over 20+ BOTTLES A SUMMER of ZEX through his auto SOHC....just can't kill the pooor thing.

When he speays at the track he sprays from start to finish in every gear and runs high 15's with 17's and full interior...

That's the point!

you can spray all you want...I mean have you seen project N2O Neon rental?...3 speed auto, 125shot of N2O, still didn't kill it...what I'm saying, if you are at all concerned about reliability, it would be wise not to do it. The guy w/ 20+ bottles obviously doesn't care whether he blows it up, since I'm guessing he's waiting for an excuse to swap.

Yeah - he has tried to kill it for 2 summers...

My point is the old story of N20 and poor reliabilty is all but ancient history. Kits these days are very smart and very safe...making them very reliable.

Im not sure the true number but this guy has probable put 50 bottles through his motor with NO problems what-so-ever. Yeah,50 bottles NOT 50 shots.

A very good kit is supposed to be the Vennom.

Its got a computer and everything and monitors the levels and if the engine gets lean, it fires in more fuel to make up for it, really hard to screw up.

Gee........I guess there were NO OTHER variables that might have caused this to happen? ie......not enough fuel.......air........ect.

You just made a blanket statement.

There might of been a variety of reasons (those pics), that might of happened.

But to say Nos did it....is wrong. Some of t kits that are available are considered "smart" kits. So even if the driver is not, the kit is.

My 2C's......

I personally think Nos on an auto is a better idea than on a stick......why?........You can't miss a gear in an auto.......you can in a stick.

Talk to KRS about it........he'll tell you what you will need.....what you don't need, and what you can do with what you have.

I'm guessing that a 50 shot will be ok for the stock internals.......I've been told to upgrade the fuel preasure regulator.....ignition....and plugs.
An air intake will also help, and don't forget the exhast.

Anything else, talk to KRS.
