noise from rear tire

lately there's been a hollow humming sound coming from my rear driver side tire area. I hear it when i reach approx. 60 km/h and on. Seems like it's coming from the rear wheel somewhere. anyone know what the problem coud be??

you don't necessarily need to replace em both, depends on your budget.. it's recommended that you do, but worst case open up the other side too and re-grease it good.. should extend it's life for a while longer..

I don't know if this will help, but I have both rear trailing arms off my 98 Civic... either they will bolt up, or you can use the hub and stuff from it. Anyone know for sure?? I'll let it go for cheap...parts are starting to stockpile and there is a lack of room around here

Maybe what was mentioned above...but could also be as a result of bad tire wear.

Are you lowered?

If yes, answer next.

Have you had an alignment recently?

If no, stick your hand into your fender well and rub your hand along the surface of the tire (where the tread is) Feel for any inconsistancy, bumps, feathering, whatever.

This may be the cause of your humming.
