nitrous help

Im new here and need help, I currently own a 88 dx with a b16 and recently I bought a nos nitrous kit off my friend, its a universal dry kit and came with a lot of jets. Now my question is that I want to be able to run between 100-150 hp on my b16 and currently it only has a cai, header and exh. and what I want to know is can I run that much nitrous on a b16 without doing any internals and what mods will I need to run that much nitrous safely.

i had a 50hp single fogger wet setup once and it toasted my stock clutch. i'd recommend a stronger clutch if you don't already have one. you are probably going to want to do a 4 fogger setup for a shot any larger than 80, but i wouldn't go any bigger than that on stock internals. you might also want to look into an ignition system that you can retard your timing as you add n2o. hope you can also afford 94 octane at sunoco.

yes a ignition system with a spark cut rev limiter is highly recommended.
The stock rev limit is a fuel cut, so imagine what would happen if you accidentially revved it too high. This is why u need an ignition system with rev limit that kills the spark.
I've got a really good ignition system for sale with an adjustable rev limit (spark cut), its got a selectable retard (for n20) its got a RPM window switch and a bunch of other neat features.
PM me for more details if you'd like.

nope...because as long as there is still spark and n20 the engine will keep revving.
Thats why the stock fuel cut rev limit isn't good for n20 IMO

You can run up to a 75 shot on stock internals as long as you have certain things...

- colder plugs
- right fuel pressure 40-45 ideally
- well maintained engine
- higher the octane the better
- zex kit preferably then you dont have to worry about a cutoff or window switchs and all that crap.
- Your timing should checked as well.

Zex kit cuts off the second you are not WOT- WIDE OPEN THROTTLE meaning you take you foot off the floor and it cuts the spray. Also has a backup meaning if your running to lean it willnot spray.
