I just want to see what you think of the Nissan Silvia Motor. I am considering getting one to put into a 240sx. Let me know

The SR20DET is a revered engine among tuners. Go do it, I think it's worth it.

SR20DET 240's are awesome. You can actually get OEM parts no problem by ordering online from a couple places in the US. They actually stock maintenance parts.

Its not as easy as a motor,tranny,ECU...

Actually, you can get a japanese front cut for way cheaper.... Then you have all the parts and then some. If you buy separately, be ready to sell ur **** to pay for it

Ahh the SR20DET thats what I wanted to build as my first car, the article in Sport Compact Car made me want one lol. MMM Silvia front end with the coupe back and an SR20DET....soooo sweet, but alas my dad didnt want me to buy it cause it had some rust in the wheel wells. If you got the money do it, you won't regret it.

if you happen to get the motor DO NOT GET A CUT HARDNESS IF YOU DO YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE MOST HARDNESS ARE CUT>>>OZAKA IN MONTREAL CAN GET YOU A COMPLETE SWAP...

TO PUT IN THE ENGINE IS NO PRBLEM THE PROBLEM IS IN THE WIREHARDNESS AND THE TURBO>>>>>>HAVE FUN IF YOU NEED INFO MY FRIEND REMI BUILD A SYLVIA FROM HIS 240 here is his email...
