NGK Plug wires or OEM plug wires
I'm going to get a set and both the sets (NGK and OE) are the same price. my question is whether the NGK are better then the OE plug wires? Is it an upgrade or just an oem replacement?
i would get oem
so the ngk is more of an oe replacement instead of an upgrade?
I thought OEM plug wires are made by NGK
i thought the same thing, i just want some clarification as to whether they are OE replacements or an upgrade over stock.
according to NGK's website, the plugs are made to higher then OE manufacturer specs. |
Could be. I can't harms from using it.
my beef with them is that they are blue and don't match my valve cover and intake, but if they are better i will buy em
Don't they also have black ones?
all the ones i have seen for the b16a2 (RC-HE64) are blue. I'd love to get red or black.
UAP sells NGK wires.. they are blue.
I don't know if Honda uses NGK wires (they probably do). My 2 cents.. if they are the same price.. i would get oem |
i just purchased a set of OEM Honda wires and they are manufactured by NGK.
NGK is OEM :)
The blue ones are an upgrade, but no need really for them unless there the same price as the oems, (buy them from the states after shipping customs it comes out the same as if you bought oem from honda)
OEM = NGK
i would get OEM just cause they black.. lol hold off on it let me see how much i can get them for and ill let u know |
what abt MSD or NOLOGY
thanks eric, and i'll check msd and nology. they are supposed to be good brands?
MSD is nice. I am not sure about Nology.
msd and nology are both pretty pricy.
i'll just go with oem wires |
