newbie clutch question

hey i think im around my last couple months with my curent clutch now to upgrade do i need the whole kit or can i just grab a new clutch disk?

I strongly believe you only need the new clutch plate.

if you want to upgrade you'll need to go with an quality aftermarket disc and plate.. replace your bearings while you're at it. and get your flywheel resurfaced and balanced.

if you wnat just a stock replacement you can get just the disc from Honda... provided your pressure plate is still in good condition. you won't know this until you take the tranny off.

In every standard car or truck ive ever owned, when the clutch is gone, i replace the clutch , pressure plate and release bearing. HTe kits are decently priced and its all apart right?
