New mufller help?

Hi,

I'm shoping for a beater and an accord i'm looking at need a muffler. Since the car is $500 I want to spend as little as possible on the muffler, what's the best way? Can I pick up a used one somewhere and get a shop to weld it on, or should I just take it to a shop and have them put a new one on ?

How much am i looking ot spend? What's the best & cheapest shop ? Anyone have hook ups ?

THanks.
