unknown mileage motors, I'd def do a full tuneup incl timingbelt and waterpump PLUS all the regular stuff like belts, ignition, fluids and filters.

yeah, change all of the fluids (oil, coolant, tranny fluid) and oil filter, get new spark plugs (i recommend NGK v-power....BKR6E-11, get them from crappy tire for $7 for 2), spark plug wires (Honda), distributor cap and rotor (honda as well) and maybe a valve adjustment.

i can change all the fluids bymyself, but do you suggest going to a shop for a tune up (ie. belts etc)

i would recommend changing the belt (timing belt, powet steering belt, alternator belt) while the engine is out of the car...the same goes for the water pump. Its much easier to change while the engine is out.
If you plan on changing the clutch now would be the time to do it as well.

the motor is going into my ride now, it came out of a running delsol and the belts look in good condition, however the motor will be in and running by the time i get it, so do you suggest a mechanic or something, does mr lube do good tune ups?

Its hard to tell if the timing belt is in good shape until it snaps. Save the headache and change it now.

its not hard to tell. look for obvious signs of wear. freying of the belt is a start. look if there is any unusual wear on the teeth or any "cord" marks showing. if it looks weird change it
