New girl in town!

New girl in town looking to lower my ride, what springs do you guys suggest? I was thinking 1.5-1.8 drop.

if you become a paid member they sell for around $300 give or take a bit per manufacturer....

or have a look in the classifyeds and maybe someone is selling some?

The springs are about $280 from one of the club's affiliates. Or, you could look for some used ones. They usually go for $175-$200.

the drop is 2" the priceis just about the same as the other names mentioned above $290 tax incl

i don't want to put springs down but i think coilovers are the way to go... they're adjustable, so you can lower them for a show

Correct me if i'm wrong but, don't you need to get an alighment everytime you adjust it?

you just mark your height with paint and lower it for a show, then raise it again when your done

you are correct... and you should have them corner weighted when you adjust height as well... which most people do not do.... basically wasting the adjustability purpose....

i'm have neuspeed race springs and for winter i'm just putting my stock front springs back in to raise it up

dont get coilovers if u want to lower it and forget it...springs are less worries...I have coilovers, some reason i dont trust them anymore
