I'm not a engine swap tech...but it sounds good. Where are ya shipping from, cause shipping all that will cost a great deal.

Turbo-ing a Type-R motor with it's high compression would be insane. You'd have to strip it apart and build it up, lower the compression, etc. And if you're gonna strip the motor apart and swap out the internals why not start with a cheaper platform such as a GSR or B18/B20??

$5999 is about how much legit JDM ITR motors go for, however you're gonna need to buy misc stuff like drive shafts, shift linkage, belts, hoses, etc. so remember to factor those into your budget.

i would have to agree with Jugglez...type R motor is not an ideal motor for supercharging or adding a turbo, best to go stock with that motor, all i would add is an air intake.

The b18c1 is ideal for a turbo ...look at all the fast guys out there now, guess what they have...........b18c1 and BIG FAT TURBOS and they fly. Go talk to Altech and Splitfire...they will back up Jugglesz and I opinion.

b18c1 (gsr) with a turbo would smoke a supercharged b18c5 (type r).........right Jugglez? It is all about compression!
