new to civics - some help please!

first off, hello! i am new to this civic stuff and to these forums

I have a 92 honda civic hatch (some pics to follow soon!).

Here are my questions/problems.. any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

1) I have a zc motor.. where can i find specs on it? what #'s on it will help me out?

2) I am not sure if it was a proper swap, i was told you need a p6 or p7 computer for it.. please correct me if i am wrong, if i do, how do i tell ?

3) distributor? how can i tell if it is the proper one?

4) i have a chugging/cut/hesitation problem going from 2nd to 3rd and alot in third. mostly this happens when the car is cold.. Now i have had the fuel pump replaced after tests showing it crapped out on me, and along with the fuel filter.. it was fine for a while, but now it is doing it again.. I know my timing belt needs to be replaced, would this cause the problem? any ideas? where could i take it to get looked at?

Thanks again!

Jay

My apoligies.. i should have stated as 94eg6hb said what it was .. and yes, it was the "dizzy" When the helpfull ken @ krsd helped me out, he got a code 15 and narrowed the problem down to the distributor.. works great.. thanks for all the help to everyone..
