New All Season Tires?
If you've seen me pull into and out of meets, you've heard my tire sweaking. They suck, period. I need to get some new ones now before I do any other mods on my ride.
What tires should I get? They are going on my stock 14 steeles.

I'm riding on Khumo Ecsta 712's right now (195/50/15) and I can tell you these are GREAT tires...
Wet (don't drive past 130ish and you can be safe) and dry they grip like a ****.. You can heat 'em up nice and easy with a few tire spins to get a lil extra launching grip and most importantly they are affordable.
Regards,
OK

I was thinking yoko avid t4s. They seem pretty good and I need them to use in the winter. I heard the 712s suck in snow but the Yokos aren't that great either. The price is $79 per tire, $9 for blaencing and $9 for a total of $373.75 at Johnson And Magwood.

or you need them to last?
How much are you willing to spend?
Kumho 760 is relatively cheap and it's all season.
Yokohama Avid T4 is a little bit more expensive than the above Kumho 760, but still very afordable
Goodyear Integrity also falls into that price range
I had Michelin RainForce MX4 on my other car b4, snow traction is pretty bad, but damn, donno why Michelin is so expensive and I don't recommand.
Just don't expect too much from all season tires during winter, they aren't that good on snow.

I would recommend Michelin. I really like those new Pilot Exaltos they have, but they're not cheap. You get what you pay for though.

I'm running Hankook Ventus H101's on my EL right now (205/50/15). They are all season tires and weren't too bad in the little bits of snow that we had this past winter. I picked them up at Automotive Import Market on Denison in Markham for $400 installed and balanced. Not sure if they make 14 inchers, but they probably do.

No tire will stick to a wet road, they all slide

I'm not getting aftermarket rims until later this year, like at the end of the summer. I need something to use in the winter time, that's why I want some new all season tires now. My current ones suck ***.

Why dont you just buy some crappy tires to last you the summer and then when the winter comes around you can get some snow tires, then when you buy your aftermarket rims just make sure they have good traction wet or dry.

my take is: get summer tires (or at least high performance all season) for summer and winter tires for winter, so you won't get crappy traction all year long.
I think the smallest 712's come in is 15".
