Neuspeed Race Springs: Opinions
What are your opinions on the Neuspeed Race Springs? Am I going to have trouble driving around the city (Ek Hatchack)? It is going to be a daily driven Civic. When I do decide to slap on the race springs, I'm going to get aftermarket shocks as well, would I need anything else? Anyone have pics of the race springs installed on their car? What do you guys think bad or good?
Thanks,
Fred

if I"m nto mistaken the ek hatch can take alot! of lowering...race woudl probobly be what you want....they sit very high in the front so...the one I saw looked drivable and it even had a h22 in it....but look aroudn at some pistures on the net or soem ****....

Yup! Great springs...Im going the same route in a few weeks, 2.25" fron 2.0" rear i believe....
Some people have told me to go with the sport 1.8"....however after seeing my friends TEG i loved the amount they lower your car by....
GET 'EM!!!

mine lower more like 2.5 in the front and 2 in the rear.... when i used to have blown shocks it actually sat a low lower then in that pic though.... but just make sure you get a solid shock like illumina or yellows and you'll love them

The ones I want are about 2.5in drop all around, would I need a camber kit or not? Am I going to have any rubbing issues, I'm only going to be running the stock size tires and wheels. The pic that PunkInDrublic posted, I really want them now. So I'm assuming that, if I go with these springs, no need for a front and rear lip then.

well that pic is with 185-60-r14 tires... no rub what so ever.... but when i had blown stock shocks and my wider 15's on it would rub when i turned all the way to the right... but not the left
if your keeping your stock tires you shouldn't rub.... you should get a camber kit though

yoru ek can be lowered alot ..the ek hatches can be lowered on races and not be as bad as eg's..the key is a good shock...but what is the point if yoru runnign steel's with skiny all season rubber... ..yoru suspension will be good yet tires will suck = waste of money

I have neuspeed race springs sitting on stock shocks, and they are awesome. I have had absolutely no problems with the springs yet, or my shocks getting bouncy. Still like new.
If you have the money....you might as well get some new shocks though, it's better to do it all at once than have to do it down the road again.

how low would be a safe driveable amount to lower with 17's on my 96 h/b?
enough to make it looks great, but not slamed or anything, just so it doesn't look like its gonna go offroading, and so it can be good for the daily driver

I just got rid of my EF with these springs, they looked really good, nice and low but not to low if you are careful but bumpy as hell, man these springs were harsh as anything they made me hate downtown.

im loving mine, i have a front lip too and i dont hit off very much att all, the only time i got any major damage was when i had a blow out a few weeks ago, now the bottom passenger side of the lip is flat
