neetronics hondata
ive searched and cant come to an answer... heres a link to the pricing section on the neetronics website
http://webhome.idirect.com/~neethlin...g/pricing.html
im looking at purchasing a hondata soon but i cant determin wether the price listed is a price for the actually hondata unit itself or for tuning for the hondata... if you look at the link below its the page it takes you to when you click the hondata link from the page above.
http://webhome.idirect.com/~neethlin...a_pricing.html
at the top of the page under "Honda / Acura" its says $640 for NA and $800 for turbo... is this for tuning or is the for the actual hondata???
and second question... is there a seperate hondata unit for forced induction cars or is there one hondata unit for all honda tuning???
any of the above questions you could answer would help out alot... thanks....

From what i gathered that is price of the unit and tuning. See the side not that says "*based on average tune". Then below that it says the price of the s100 is $400 and s200 is $475. I mean if its $550-650 for tuning alone i would go somewhere else.
Yes, there is a separate unit (well more a separate option you must specify you want) for boosted applications (s100B, s200B) the B is for boost and costs $325 more on top of the price of the unit.
Their prices seem kind of steep. I mean come on $400 for a p28 and $400 for a obd2-obd1 conversion harness?!??!?!?!
You can get hondata cheaper if you buy it from the states. But its definately a good idea you are thinking about gettin hondata.

get S200b, or do some research on NepTune if your willing to take your car down to the states to have it tuned or maybe we'll get lucky and someone up here will get it as its only available to dyno shops.

get the S200b. my boy has one for sale if you want it. you can get the 200b for about $350US. the price on Paul's site includes tuning. and believe me it's gonna cost. don't look for cheap prices, look for a quality tuner. my boy paid $350 to tune his lsv at Paul's. that **** took about 3 hours and 20-30 pulls. you've gotta pay to play. but, you have to tune to play safe. tuning is like putting a jimmy hat on your motor.....while you are on vacation in Cuba or Brasil

hondata is pretty expensive up here compared to in the states. Just shop around for the best price unless your in a hurry.
Ive read the only way to get a proper tune is to do partial throttle street tuning or atleast thats what is recommended. Look up NepTune on www.boosted-hybrid.com and read up on it.
