Need Tranny Help Please!!!!!
 

My girlfriedns car is about to go. The tranny is acting up so we wanna get it get it fixed or whatever. Its a 96 Civic CX. Please let me know i dont want it to break down on her !!!:shakehand

I guess i should have stated that. it is Automatic

so whats the problems...is it over reving, stalling, or slipping, skipping gears...???

All of the above!! When i start going its like a big kick and then it goes. a slight up hill and it rolls back a bit WHILE IN DRIVE. its shifts smooth but you can just tell that its not right. i dont know
**** all about Honda, i am a VW man. and i know our trannies aren't the greates either. But this is bad. her Mech said that it was gonna go soon. Now i was told to just change the Tranny fluid and all would be good. but then the Mech said dont bother cause its gonna go anyways.!!

could be a plugged filter as well..
that's the thing with auto trannies, way too many things to go fer a shyt..
