Exclamation Need Tire Help and Opinion Falken ZIEX 512s

I'm looking around for Tires and i'm thinking because of the mild winter or so far of it, should i save a little cash and just put some

Falken Ziex 512's on and use them for the mild winter and summer.

Or get a used set of winters *(not even sure what brand yet) for $350- $400 w/ steelies

and when summer comes around / spring still dish out another 400 bucks for a decent set of summer tires.

Any suggesstions?
I had Ziex 512's they did well in the rain, i'm not sure how they did in the snow cause i never tried them but they were rated 3/5 on the scale for snow. Which isnt' bad but will i survive without flying into a ditch with these?

Looking for 205/50 (or less) / 15

Honestly man, I don't know if you can buy a 'decent' set of summer tires for $400. I would expect to pay about 550-600.

I'm gonna be getting falken ziex 512's (or similar) for the summer this spring and new snow tires in the fall....

IMO better to have 2 sets, good set of summer tires and good set of snows...

To me, all season tires are too compromised for one season or another and that makes them not so good at any particular season or condition.

I often use the slogan: "all seasons are no seasons" lol.

However....since we don't get snow anymore, just get a good set of summer tires that are good in the wet as well as dry pavement....
