need to swap b18b1 into my civic lx! HELP!
I HAVE a deal with the b18b1 from a 96 integra
i want to do this swap myself since i have a shop a school and my teacher will be willing to help me out.
can you guys give me some help
and DUY DUY DUY, i know you did this before so i want you to give me some advice..
it is also a auto to manual conversion....
i need as much advice as i can..please guys...i don't tell me to pay a guy to do it...
i really want some hands on experience so i want to do it myself..
if anyone has any write up for this swap , please let me know...

I've helped do a swap before...it's straight forward...basically like an R&R with a little wiring work to get the pinouts to match from the ECU and the harness. Just watch how big a rad you stuff in there, since the one I saw dented the hood since it was so huge. Just disconnect everything from the engine to the chassis, and pull, drop in the new one with the right mounts and you are set. Do the clutch lines and hydraulics while the engine is out of the car...lot more room to work on.

Not that I know of, but there are a lot more manifolds available for the b-series and a T3 flange.
This is what I was gonna do, but then I figured I'd blow this motor first, then replace and decide if NA or Turbo is the way to go after having experienced each. I'm no longer taking anyone's word on the net without picture proof.

What about the tranny conversion? The EF's are cable clutches and this would be hydralic?....any issues?

i have all the parts already, do i use the wiring from my civic and plug it into the integra ecu, or something like that?
