So my rad on my 98 Civic EK

has a major crack, basically coolant everywhere..so its done and need a new one..

so while searching for a new rad from my understanding, there are Dual core rads from other honda's..

The two choices are:

99-00 Honda Civic EX (1.6 SOHC VTEC) w/ auto tranny

or

94-97 Honda Del Sol 1.6 DOhC motor

so my question is this which rad would fit best on my 98 Civic with the D16Y7 motor?

Get the rad from SOHC because DOHC rad has a bigger inlet and your hose won't fit.

if your car is standard i think it matters if its an auto or manual tranny for the rad...i may be wrong and you may be auto, i'll check out later to see if i was write or wrong

I have manual transmission

THe AT tranny one will not.
