Either talk to Jugglez/Slvr-Bullet bout their clutchnet or ask KS-R bout the kevlar clutch he can get

Apparently both parties claim their own recommendations are pretty good good luck

In my opinion...

If you can, get yourself a Type R clutch, nice oem with more holding power

Or you can get an Exedy clutch. Heard lots of good things about them. Supposed to be better than ACT and Clutchmasters.

You can order from here:

I like the ITR clutches too. Stock feel, with better holding power. Factory reliability and longivity to back it up also.

Exedy has had some issues with Honda clutches. You have to readjust the master cylinder to decrease travel from the throwout bearing, or else you'll be hearing a nasty screaching sound everytime it is engaged. But after doing that, the engagement point of the clutch moves up.

hmm...maybe the Exedy clutch for my car doesnt have this problem. Because tons of people on clubsi have it and they have nothing but praises for it.

SiR rookie:
I have a 96 vtec delsol
DOHC right?

I would buy a racing clutch and do the flywheel in all that while you have it out.

Are you sure the clutch is going? Or you getting used to it?
Hold the brake firmly and gas it with the same foot and let the clutch out. If your clutch pulls through the brakes its good. Rev to 3 gs

Also put it in forth and let clutch out with bit of gas.
if your clutch is good it will stall. If its not it will slip.
I hope this helps you out!!!

If you're stock and will remain stock, either get the stock clutch or the ITR clutch. You don't need anything more.

Yes me and Juggz have the stage 2 Clutchnet. But Juggz probably has better performance than I do cuz I neglected to change my throw out bearing and resurface the flywheel and am getting a lot of chatter still (had the clutch for about 4months now). Other than that it has the stock feel. Got it from importparts.com

If you have the DOHC VTEC B16A, then it will fit. If you have the SOHC VTEC D16Z, then it won't fit.

The chattering is normal for the 1st 1000km's or so.. mine stop doing that after about 1500km.. used to squeek like nutz until i had the master cylinder replaced a month ago...but it still squeeks every now and then when it's cold.. that's probably due to the copper disc. I agree about the stock pedal feel, but it is a bit hard on engagement which takes a little getting used to for a daily driven car... in terms of performance though, it's great for the money. You have to give a little to gain a little... I'd buy another one if given the chance.

Naw man. I think mine is fooked. It even does it in reverse sometimes. I might get Rick to look @ it next season if it still continues.

Man why didn't you just replce the bearings and all that **** while the tranny was apart? Would've saved you a crapload of trouble. Other than the chattering does it perform well? And i mean when you shift like a **** does it not bite like nutz?

Yah yah, I know. Live and learn Yes it definitely bites (meaning good ) I can actually feel a little "kick" when I shift. But I still haven't been able to screech the tires like some poeple do when shifting Probably cuz of my heavy *** rims
