magnaflow will be louder and i dont think the GReddy SP2 is SS piping (someone correct me if im rong) so the custom would be good, but heavier. but since you guys get lots of rust problems SS would be great

Greddy is a way nicer system, the magnaflow is a basic low end system........Bolt on system's are always nicer and "always" sound better.

ya really..but it does come with a high flow cat ect....but still it's nto liek it's huge 3 inch piping or anything....I hate greddy so I'd go magnaflow.....if you got a nice big resonator and not a gay canister muffler your exhaust should sound ok...but get a big resonator..

a place call alex performance exhaust in scarborough need warden ave and eglinton.

i'm kindna worry about the welding get rust so bad after one winter. hate rust. have to remove all the rust from stone chip..
maybe i should go with the greddy, sp2 = ss from cat back.

i got a good price on the sp2, not much more than the magnaflow.
i though about the magnaflow cause it comes with a high flow cat.

thanx guys for the input..

N1 is way too loud for my taste. no silenser..
$630 without the high flow cat(carsound).
should i get the cat with custom magnaflow then put on the header later.
or
get the sp2 now. and then get the header with a bolt on high flow cat later. is there a bolt on cat?

i will get the header when my income tax comes back.

Your stock exhaust manifold flows very well. You really do not need to change it out. Have it ported.

Hi flow cats are available at CT. Use up that CT money....

You will need to add a flexible joint.

Watch your pipe diameter - anything over 2" and you loose torque on the bottom end - unless you are turbo..

Use a high flow resonator after the cat to keep the 3000 rpm boom down.

Any turbo muffler will do. Even a cheap cherry bomb turbo. How long are you expecting to keep the car???

Virtually any machine shop can port your header. Now let me get specific here so you know how this works.

The stock header ports are slightly smaller that the exhaust port.

What you need to do is overlay an exhaust gasket over the flange. You will see the material that should be removed.

You could literally do this yourself with a die grinder, it's that simple.

The universal cat from CT works, the amount of impedence on flow is debatable. Just make sure the inner diameter matches the piping you are using - remember I said inner - not outer.
