What's your rim / tire size? Also, your car is old and worn, so thing won't feel as solid anyway. Good suspension isn't going to take away the harsh feeling of hitting a bump when you're lowered anywhere close to 2"...It will make the ride smoother, not so bouncy, and feel better in the corners.
I have Omni Streets and I've had H&R Sports/KYB AGX, both while using a 17" rim and 205/40/17 tire and I could feel pretty much every crack in the road. |
thnx..so wat do u suggest? i have stock steelies and got new lca rear bushings (oem)...gggrrr..

sounds like shocks are blown. Koni yellows are excellent but the red's are also dampening adjustible only three seetings.
could also be that dampening on the shocks cant handle the rigid spring. test your shocks |
i think its the spring thats too low..shocks works fine..
|
when you hit a bump does it bottom out? tire hits top of fender could be loud noise? Look for rips in the plastic inner fender.
|
1.7 isnt very much, you shouldnt bottem out...maybe its a 3' drop
|
sell the springs and get a set of matched coilovers like Progress or Omnipower
|
im thinking of getting coils but those the Tokico shocks matter? i heard they sux??
thnx |
the tokico blues do kind of suck, and give your car a harsh ride, but it shouldn't be bouncy.
|
its probly cuz im too low..my fender is kinda covering my tires for about 0.5 inch...:D
