need help with engine purchase...
my d16z6 burns oil. kinda shitty, but I dont really care.
cause now that the engine is pretty much gone in my car, I want to think long term. im looking to buy a newer engine and run it for 3+ yrs with limited problems rather than a high performance engine with lots of mods and have to goto a mechanic every 3 months, etc.
anyways, I'm thinking either a newer d15b or a d16z6. which one of these engines would be better performance wise, and what would be better for daily driver? i own a 92 civic si hatch, will both engines bolt in? also, how much am i looking at for the full swap?
and what will i need to complete a full swap?
im not sure which parts i can reuse from my current d16z6, can someone help me?
thx

Hehe That's the problem with skimming over posts...miss crucial info. The only diff really is one is OBDI, the other is OBDII... but for your needs, it's better that it's OBDI so you won't have wiring headaches... it's all plug and play for you.
