LOL, use a paperclip and "jump" the two wires in the clip on the passenger side footwell together, then turn on the ignition, and count the number of times the "check engine light" blinks.....


whats next staple removers?

I'm not sure OBD2 cars do that I got a scanner, but I'm all the way over here

Had no idea... I do it with my Saturn cuz I can't find the appropriate scanner for it (Snap-On makes one but $$$$$$) but with the Civic I found www.scantool.net and it gives me so much more info than the flashing CEL could... I value info very highly Guess I never had a need for it...
