Need a cLutch for H22...Insight needed

Ill get to the point, Im looking for a clutch for my h22, currently its stock, but over the next couple months it will be turbo, Im looking at about 350 whp, daily driver , would like something that engages smoothly.
I found an ACT HA3-HDR6 for a good price on ebay, like 330, Any good?, , I dont want to spend much more then that what do u guys recommand?

not too bad of a price i guess but adding shipping onto that plus taxes etc its gonna be around 400-450 id guess. I would personally recommend a sprung hub clutch because from what ive seen you drive your car everyday and unsprung will just get annoying to deal with IMO. I would say like a Stage 3 (FX300) Clutchmasters clutch would be good for what your going to be doing.

In all my experiance, I dont like using any other company than a local one to toronto called Eurodrive. Ive run over 400 whp on their sprung disk and it held like a champ. If anythign the only problem is that they hold too good. Check out taht company, Eurodrive. I had the dual diaphram pp with the sprung ceramic disk. You wont be disappointed eather. The pric eis right also at just under 400 bucks.

would probably need to check around, jrp is the master distributor for them so they could probably let you know where to get it.

The one you posted is a solid/unsprung segmented clutch which IMO will be a little harsh for your application, id try and find a sprung full faced clutch.

act xtreme plate with street disk...end of story

clutch master is garbage

puck = garbage

So with your theory Full Race is garbage and you shouldnt buy any of there "stage x" turbo kits ? Why do you even reply if your gonna put up non-sense like that? The Clutchmaster Race team has 3 cars that are consistently winning but there products are garbage.........yeah.......

clutchmaster clutches are lower end in my experiance. I have had a lot of problems with their clutches in high torque applications. The company ive had the most luck is Eurodrive. Not to mention they are 50% less than clutchmaster.

i've seen a couple of clutchmasters clutches break on turbo applications as well.
I've also had good experiences with eurodrive/exedy/bully/ACT

I'm also using one of their clutchtex (kevlar) clutches on my boosted d and love it. Go Eurodrive, you won't be dissapointed.

ya full race must be garbage if they sell their kit's in "stages"...but they are maketing towards dumb kids so it isn't their fault I actually liek their kit's and have scene them in action personally

What I'm tryin to say markpa is you want to know what material is the disc how heavy the pressure plate is etc before you buy a clutch

you will either have a heavy clutch that you can slip and engage nice or a lighter clutch peddle that grabs hard ie pucks

for street you can't go wrong with act extreme plate and street disk proven time again

or you coudl jsut buy a ghetto xtd ebay clutch cause you will spin your tires anyway so....

I'd stick to brand names like ACT and Exedy unless you enjoy pulling out your tranny frequently. I've seen Clutchmasters fail pretty bad under abuse. ACT seems to handle it with grace no prob. I bought two B series clutches for $1500 from an ACT dealer, so the $330 seems like a good deal.
