ncie springs

which ones drop the car approx 2.5 1996-2000 coupe..and give hte car a nice ride....nothing too expensive

imported_D dot T 06-Aug-2003 09:07 AM

H&R Racing springs will give u a drop almost about that....I think it was 2.25" if i'm not mistaken.

shlammed 06-Aug-2003 09:12 AM

so will neuspeed race

imported_gatherer 06-Aug-2003 09:24 AM

but they are race springs and are harsher then sport springs

bbarbulo 06-Aug-2003 09:39 AM

Suspension Techniques - 2.5" drop. I had a set, and I liked them a lot. Great if paired with good shocks.

yes i can contest that neuspeed race springs are stiff.... but the drop looks good and they handle incredibly

speedracer 06-Aug-2003 04:25 PM

could i do a neuspeed with stock shocks

yes, but only for a limited time (ie. two months at most probably).

your stock shocks will take a beating with race springs.

you'll probably experience a bouncy stiff ride without upgrading your shocks.

speedracer 06-Aug-2003 04:36 PM

could i use my 89 kyb shocks

punkindrublic 06-Aug-2003 06:32 PM

i'm going on two week with neuspeed race springs on stock shocks.... and still they are still holding.... keep in mind these shocks are factory originals... in a 93 model year car with 284 000kms

HAPPY 06-Aug-2003 06:46 PM

I drove 2 years on RSR Race and stock shocks... it's all a crap shoot

punkindrublic 06-Aug-2003 06:52 PM

i think it is all hype... or a few people have abused shocks and they blow... cause even my friend had coilovers lowered at least 2.5" on stock shocks for like 8 or 9 months... and they weren't terrible when they came out
