would ya'll consider using nautral gas instead of gasoline...cuz 102. / liter for gas is just too much. for a daily driver im thinking of installing it in my car

First of all your driving a civic so how can you complain that gas is costing you to much? Secondly your idea is intriguing but wouldnt propane be cheaper and easier to find?

with the cost of the retrofit, u'll prolly need to drive a while to actually save money. Dunno how much it is to retrofit, $500 maybe?

retrofit on my boss truck cost about $1000, and he has the natural gas pump installed at his house, so at night he hooks up and in the monring his tanks are full.

You need big tanks though, and they would be really no room in the civic for them. He has 2 big tanks in the back of his pickup bed, and that barely gets him about 230-300 km, but its cheap, alot cheaper than what they sell NG at the pumps for, its like 55c/l equivelant to gas when you get it at the gas station, and when you pump it from your house its cheaper than that, but its slower since there is less PSI on the line at your house so it takes all night to fill the tanks if you do it that way

you also look to lose about 30% of your horsepower, as if the car wasn't underpowered enough.

this seems like it would only be worth it for large trucks that have to be used often.

but we drive civics! I'm just coming up to 400km/s out of half a tank...f**kin magical

so who cares if u loose hp - ur using it as a daily driver not going drag racing with it...and ya it is still cheaper if u do it at the pump...i rather pay 59cents a L than pay 102 per liter. and it dont have to be big tanks...
