MY cousin was thinking of a race civic
he is very interested in track events, and got his bro into it...his bro is lookin at a 1990 bmw 325is, but he was researching about this...and a fully race civic has been stuck in his head for soooo long.
fully gutted EG
16" SSR competition wheels
sparco racing seat
white paint
c/f hood, lip, spoon duckbill spoiler
full race suspension
under the hood is a CR-VTEC!
what do u guys think?
once hes done with the bmw, it will look something like my friend randy's bmw..

Da bimma is nice....old but tasteful, unlike many BMWs I've seen. I like it.
The Civic idea....it would run in a class of cars he would prolly not be able to compete in...a CRV VTEC engine would prolly put him in a pretty extreme class against turbo cars like RX7s and Fairlady Zs. I would run a highly built SOHC VTEC screamer.... 10K redline, no joke. I've seen it And he'd compete against Daewoos and isht If he wanted an ultra low budget car just to get his feet wet and actually win races based on mod points, I'd choose a 98 Accent GSi... haha... I'm serious too

Yeah, I really like EGs...they are the perfect platform for so many reasons... I have a 6th gen sedan, and I planned a swap since the car was brand new. Actually, I bought the car with a swap in mind. Just months ago, after 4 years of planning, I decided to try turbo first... I've taken too great a care of the engine to just sell it for chump change to some loser who doesn't deserve it. This way...I get to baby it and boost it...see how long it lasts, and what a D16Y7 can do in the right hands (not saying mine are the right hands, but I'll give it a shot)

BOOMER is also a memeber of this site...his name here is SNATCHBACK. No one has been able to get in touch with him in the past week or so.... so we don't know if he still has it. There is a member here that is buying it though... when he gets in touch with him, so it may come down to who can shell out the money first.
