my car's idling weirdly

my car's idling weirdly
everytime i start my car in the morning my car's idling is ****. First it will go all the way down to around 300 rpm and would feel like it's going to stall then it would go back around 1500 and it would idle at 800 if the engine has warm up. Is this normal or is it something is should worry about. BTW i just got an engine swap about 2 months ago so i would figure that the engine shouldn't need a major tune up.

For some reason I see a lot of 5th gens that do this... could be anything like Jugglez said. We've covered idle control many times (at least once 
) on here, so you can search and find out what controls the idle... however, if there is something else mechanically wrong, like a bad ignition, then you can go up and down and backwards checking all the idle controls and you won't find the problem cuz it's not there... ya know? Start with basics, always! Check for fuel, air and spark. If it has these things, then move to controls. W/o knowing these three things are present at proper times, we can't help you.
