my b16 swap
 

alright my swap is almost done, I hope anyways..but I forgot about the plug in to the gagues, the plugs are diffrent...my b16 was in my eg before now I am in the proccess of puttin it into my EK hatch, is there a conversion harness for this?? and if so where can I pick it up?

no conversion harness for the clips? if thats what your asking.

dizzy, alt and possibly iacv is what you'll need depending on what model ek you have.

I don't see how changing the engine has anything to do with guages.

Do you maybe mean, distributor?
B/c if you took a b16 out of your EG, it was most likely obd1, now if you are trying to put it into your EK (which is obd2) IF you are using the stock EK engine harness, the distributor (which would most likely be obd1 since it was in your EG) plugs will be different than the dizzy plug on the EK harness.

sorry I am bad with phrashin things...and yes my engine is obd1..I am not talkin about the computer side, I am talkin about the drivers side, what do I need to do to convert that, like I have all my eg wiring, but I am not totally sure what the easiest way is, besides rippin the whole dash apart.., its the connectors that are right behind the strut tower..sorry I don't know the name for them

at least it didn't take him 3 months to do his....hahaha.

lol I started sunday night...I am just waitin on my rear SIR mount...because the EG\Ek mount is too short and throw off the rest of them :D
