Yes, they made full brake upgrade kits for the EK9 and DC2... 5x114.3 and 4x114.3

mugen never came with a full brake upgrade kit that was 4x100. it must've been some kind of replica caliper cover just like the ebay spoon caliper cover.

im pretty sure it was on a SIR with 4x100
and it doesn't look like cover at all, its real metal piece with mugen sayz on it...

im a noob to brakes, why do 4x100 and 4x114 matters to the caliper...the caliper doesn't have anything related to the stuts anyways...? i thought I just have to make sure to clearence between the caliper and the rim

it has to do with the spindle and the carrier being accepted...like u just cant throw type r calipers on to a regular civic ur gonna need the whole conversion...he might have had some kind of bracket made up to get them to work...who knows

its easy to make mugen fake calipers.
the lettering on it is not a raised print its just lettering sprayed on.
and if i remember correctly they were oem r calipers with minor mods.

yea, they look identical to oem calipers from the outside...but I think they may have a larger piston...paint you oem ones gold and then paint "MUGEN" in black...homemade mugens y0!

Fitting Mugen caliper on a SiR is no problem, the spindles will accept all other larger OEM calipers, like ITR, Prelude and whatnot. All you need is the larger disc brake for it to work and grip properly.

OEM (in this case, Mugen, being the same design) should clear most, if not, all 15" wheels.

Even NSX caliper will clear 15" OEM steelies.
