Muffler inlet Question
Hey Guys
A friend of mine is selling a ractive muffler which has a 2-3/8" inlet. I was wondering if this will fit my 99 civic sedan. I guess the stock size is 2-1/4" so i may need an adapter of some kind.
I did search other threads...but didnt find any particular information. Do all Civics have a 2-1/4" inlet and those who have just mufflers on their cars....how do they fit it on?
Thanks...

the ID of the exhaust may be just the right size to slip a section of the stock exahust pipe into the muffler eliminating the need for an adapter.
but then again an 1/8".. don't know.. it's pretty much the same pipe shoudl be able to weld them together no problem.

Just a reference.
