hey guys today my muffler took a crap on me right where the muffler attaches to the pipe theres a crack on the other side i felt it with my hand the exhaust gases are directly coming out of there how would i fix it put a new gasket inbetween them?and would i have to weld it?

Change the muffler!! I wouldn't bother trying to re-weld it, since it's probably rotted apart.

is the muffler bad or is the connection in betwwen the two flanges not together all the way?

on the connection part there is a gap i think its a crack but it might be a gap????

I thinkit would be easier and cheaper just to find a used OEM exhaust for your car instead of hvaing things welded or fixed..

i would but i have a d16z6 waiting to go in after winter and im going to bolt the new exhaust onto that
