msd ignition

i have a 92 civic ex 4 door, 4 cylinder and i'm wondering if it would be worth it to install msd ignition?? thanks

no, there are no gains to be found in an N/A application. Use the money to fix your cooling problem :fustrated

What do you mean no gains? I gaind a quadrillion HP from MSD ignition

no power gains....just better ignition system....blah balah you knwo teh sales pitch....and when u pop ur hood at tim hourtons everyone says OOHHHHH what is that....

I've got one installed. Only mild HP gain (maybe 1-2 HP) but improved gas mileage, improved responsiveness and easy starts.

Ignition boxes are pricey for the HP gains they provide. I won't suggest you buy one unless there is a particular need for one. Or if you find a killer deal on one like me!

Really ignition boxes help when you increase cylinder pressure and risk the spark not igniting the fuel, i.e. NOS, turbo, supercharger.
