Movin' On Up! Changing Cars

Hey everyone, Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, seems the best to me. I'm moving on up to a newer car, and want to know which has the strongest/fastest stock engine. Or even which have easy mods I can add to make it faster. I've got a stock 4dr. 91DX right now, and going up to 92-96 i think. Any help would be awesome, I'm pretty new to this so i need somewhere to start. I wanna mod it myself(as much as possible), learn how to do it all. Thanks in advance.

92-95 is the EG platform

there is a coupe, hatch, sedan

in those years in north amreica the si had the most power at approx 130hp give or take

the hatch is going to be the lightest

get a coupe.. its awesome having a trunk when i go to play tennis or snowboarding or to the gym.. everything fits in there without a problem and out of sight.. a trunk is such a luxury and it looks better.

Yeah man thats for sure. Gotta think about everything i guess, thanks. Got a while still gotta fix my car up and sell it but it shouldn't take long at all. Anyone know what car you can drop a RSX-R Motor(6 spd) into? or is that impossible

96 EK hatch would be the ultimate buy I think in terms of modding

All sounds pretty good, i think that 6 speed in a civic would rip pretty good. But so far I am leaning towards 1992 Honda Prelude SR. I want to stay civic and it would be sweet to put that rsx inside a little civic. Tough decision. Still got about a month till all the body work is done on my car.

Buy a civic eg 92-95 hatch. The best looking civic cars. Very easy to fix and repair. Coupe is good if u need the trunk space. All honda seats can fold down and u can put a lot of stuff in the hatch if u don't put a system like me. Just fold down the seats and u got enough space like a mini van if u don't plan to put passengers in the back. Ek hatch are much tighter at the back so u don't get much room if u put 4 passengers. EF has the most rooms for hatch, but it kind of looks old. What is your purpose of the car? To race? To make it look nice? or just daily driving?

EG H22....Oh baby. In a hatch they destroy. Even though H's have there flaw's and b's are better. H22's have 200hp out of the box. So a few bolt on's you have a fast car thats decently comfortable. And if you can afford it get the H23 vtec with the blue valve cover. So sick and soooo expensive. A blue EG coupe with an H23 would be dirty. im drooling right now just thining about it........

the car is for all around driving, daily, looks, possible road trips and I want to be able to blow away anybody around town who thinks an exhaust makes their car a hotrod. I plan on putting a system in it, maybe not a monster system but something decent. the eg sounds good if you can fix it easily, a good place to start for me. Or something with 200hp stock would be pretty sweet. Got alot to consider here. Thanks for the help keep the opinions comin.

My opinion? I doubt you'll be heavily modifying a 92-95 civic

Do you want higher stock power, or easier for modding??

Performance wise - all I have to say is OBDI...its tuner friendly

BTW, your not going to find a civic 200 HP stock.

if you can, get like a 98 si coupe, real nice sharp looking cars, even though i have a 95, but i tend to change my mind about my car every time i put the winter tires back on, but i love it again with the summer tires and rims on
