Motor sprung a leak! Help me out

when i changed my oil a few weeks ago my engine started leaking oil! i think there is a little bit comiong from the drain plug so i am going to pickup a oversized drain plug and then clean off the oil filter seal... the oil is new... only 15 miles on it so i will reuse the other stuff.
and would it be the motomaster filter?(only a d15 no swap yet)

1. no need to get oversized drain plug, just make sure you get a new crush washer.

2. Two words torque wrench.

3. Don't use motomaster filters, I heard they leak. As much as I hate to get screwed over by dealers, I hear that for Honda engines, using factory filters is more than a marketing ploy.

4. Don't forget to lub the seal on the filter and hand tighten only.

Go to Parkway Honda to get your filters, the price will be just as cheap as can tire, AND you will be getting a factory spec filter. They usually throw in a crush washer for free.

If you live far away from Parkway just go there and buy a whole wack of them to make the trip worth your while. Filters have a shelf life and you'll always need them.

Don't forget to show your membership card and tell Brett TCC sent you.

yeah im 15... and you dun have to drive a car for it to leak! but i do drive it... im in a super rural area and the local police station is 40 minutes away! i can drive all over. but i haven't lately. and this was the first oil change i have done on this car... the doofus that had it befo4re way over torqued it... the drain plug was stripped so i took one off the parts car. still leaks. umm i might try a oem honda one this time we'll see if it still elaks and if it does i will go to parkway or order a box and ask for shipping i duinno, and being 15 i can't join so im SOL can't get a membership yet or i would put it to good use if i could... frig my age!

Agh, just befriend someone with extra time that would be willing to get a case of filters for you.

If your "parts car" has the same engine try swaping the oil pan.
