Monroe SensaTrak
Has anyone used them before? how would you compare them to the ride quality of your average aftermarket shock like the KYB AGX's (ignore that they are adjustable). Thanks

They're expensive...I'd never put one on my car, but as a shock for a beater, it'll do it's job in comfort. The calibration is gonne be crappy, the dampening soft, and the quality sub-par.

I've heard different about the monroe sensatrak...
but i have no personal experience with them.
I heard they are actually good.
Has anyone actually used these, or is everyone talking out of their *** like they usually are?

I'm talking out of my *** JSK I have used Monroe on winter cars before, but not the Sensatrac...but they are REPLACEMENT aftermarket shocks, not PERFORMANCE. They are not designed with shorter stroke in mind, hence our conclusions. Hope that's good enough for you. No one has experience with them since no one would ever think to put these on unless they drive a 1988 Cavalier...no perf enthusiast would seriously consider these.

I have on the old 91 Civic I had! Like I said they're great for factory replacement (ride quality), ok maybe alittle better than stock. BUT they are not comparible to a perfomance strut! And they shouldn't be used with a lowered ride. You can but your just throwing money away and defeating the cause, might as well stay with stock.
