Had my car for about 6 years now. Spent about $1000 on it in the 1st year. More than half of that are the rims/tires. That's all I need to spend. The rest are parts from FS section, swaps, or giving for b-days, anniversaries, etc.

overall probably around 12 g's more to come 500 on suspension and 500 more on interior!

00 Civic SI - 194,000KM on Body 90,000 on motor

$pent so far:
old motor = $200
GSR swap = $2700
Labour for swap = $1200 (car was orig. auto... i know... i know... )
Body work / paintjob = $2000
Poly Body Kit = $300 (pre owned)
Rims (current set) = $1200
Tires = $500
Misc body parts = $1000
Audio/ Video = $2500
Interior = $1000
Suspension = $1200
IHE = $900
Misc Labour costs/ repairs = $1500

I'm sure theres things i'm forgetting and more to come but...
Total spent so-far = $16,200 + $9500 (car)

Coulda owned a stock beemer or g35 BUT!

It cost alot to be unique and look good doin it...

this is absolutely insane, man...it better fly! this thread is great, thx for coming up with it.

i bought a 97 LX for 5k because it came with certain things, some ok 17's, sound system, sunroof, mugen spoiler, lips, "leather" and what not. but u guys make me want a swap more and more...i still cant figure out how that guy had a b16a swap for 500$..
