hello everyone, i am new to here

one of my friend just swapped out his JDM d15b vtec from his car, i wanna know if the head from that motor would fit my car, i am driving a 93 EG non-vtec(D16, am i correct?)


anyone here has the same setup? does it worth to do this mini-me swap?

how about the tranny? are those same? or better to swap the d15b's as well?


BTW, all i have now from my friend's JDM d15b is the complete head, complete engine harness, ECU(i think it's P08)

what's other parts is needed?

yes, i did search before my i started my thread

i got some useful informations by searching, but still not get a clear answer(my case)

riiight.

anyways.. best tranny would be a y8 tranny, second best would be z6.

If you get the parts for next to nothing then it's worth it IMO. My friend made 120whp on his mini-me without any tuning. I bet with tuning he could probably open up a tad more power out of it.

Personally I would do it and get it street tuned by zeeman since there is no stock ecu for a 'mini-me' engine.
