GSR head won't fit your motor, since its from a B series motor. (Yours is D series).
GSR head would be useful for someone who has a Teg motor (b18b) and wants to Vtec it. Or for someone with a CRV motor (b20B) to again, VTEC it.
The best thing you can do, other than wasting money of bolt-ons, is to get a first gen DOHC-VTEC B16 motor swap.
There is ALOT to talk about here. You better do a search and you will find PLENTY of info on this.

mini-me is when you use a DX (D15b7 i.e.)block, with a Si Vtec head (from D16z6 i.e.)
no wiring, no tapping an oil line or that junk and u get more ponies anyways

ya it's ok to do but...kinda a pain in the ***..and you better get a vafc (apexi) to tuen the fuel curve and vtec point cause it also bumps the compression into the mid 10:1's so more fuel is needed...I'd say jsut save for a DOHC zc..you coudl pick one up for 600-700..and you hace everything like tranny and **** already so you jsut need a motor...do that instead..cheap..simple...and quick

my gf has the exact same car as mine but in the si vtec.. mines non vtec... I seriously hardly notice the difference, if any at all...it is about 20hp diff, but its still a slow *** motor, bottem line!... i would never waste my time and money on a mini me swap... well unless you have the parts given to you, and you are really bord, and have all the proper tools and knowledge.. if not save another year for turbo or Bseries... just my 2cents
