mini me ecu question

mini me ecu question

hey guys im doin a mini me dx bottum end si top so should i use a p28 ecu or a d15 b p08 ecu ? im guessin the po8 because wouldnt the 1.6 give too much gas?

I think the p28 because without that you got no vtec

Use the ECU from the top end

You still need to flow the injectors

Either one will work fine, the Jap spec one may have more aggressive maps...

By aggressive, you mean leaner, right? Personally, I'd use the P28 cuz if you modify the volumetric efficiency enough, the P28 will allow for enough fuel to be safe on the street. Lean out too much or run a tank of bad gas, and the other ECU could help you melt your pistons. P28 is a safer choice.

Well, JDM ECUs typically go a little more aggressive on the timing curves. If anything they would throw more gas in there.
People run P03s on the B16 swaps all the time.
Mo powah. If it knocks, go up a level of gas or retard the static timing, but I don't think there will be a problem.
