but i was saying that the Map Sensor from my car harness isn't connected to the ECU adaptor. So the wire from the harness is disconnected.. maybe while i was connecting my VAFC. i accidently disconnected it.

I'm getting around 500km a tank now with my B18C5..
impressive milage, I'm happy about it!
so whenever I disconnect my map sensor, I'll get this big backfiring again to pimp...lol...jk jk

Cool. Do you know which one is the Map Sensor wiring for the ECU?

If I have the same problem later on when I test my mileage out in the summer, I can view these as one of the things to look out for.

Is there a way one can check if his Map Sensor is wired into the ECU and harness????

if u have the same problem later on...
clean your filter for ur intake
tune up, such as spark plugs, spark wires, engine oil, oil filter etc
then..check the wire that connected to your ecu. but most likely, wire disconnected is close to impossible unless u will mess around with the wires..lol

but...as my knowledge
heres a diagram for OBD2b
the color of the wire for Map Sensor should be Pink and White
and take a look on this diagram

http://www.hondaswap.com/forums/inde...ype=post&id=34

its located at the Connector C number 17! it says Map there
thats the wire that disconnected in my car.
check that...
now my B18C5 with mods is running 9.285L/100km "95% Highway driving!":> impressive

my '96 si can pump out 550km on a tank, my '89 usually around 450

my '92 dodge colt used to give close to 700km on a tank, but now I'm down to around 350

it's weird switching between the two cars 'cause I can take the colt to 210km/h in 4th while my '89 hatch revs 4000rpm at 120km/hr in 5th :/
