Is it hard to make such conversion?
How much would one cost?

I'd assume that it would be really difficult and really really expensive, probably would be cheaper to sell yours and get another auto one.....

Thanks for your inputs!!
I would like an automatic vehicle because although I am the one paying for the car and insurance, my parents would not let me have a manual. I don't really like performance car, but I like my car to look good, therefore, I would like to spend little on the car itself, (but most of them are manual, therefore, I need the conversion), and then spend $2000.00 on a body kit.

Don't give up on the manual that easy! , manual is better to drive than auto, my opinion.... but if you're set on the auto just buy the car when it comes to used cars it's not that big a difference in cost, you'll spend more getting it done than just buying an auto car....

or you could try scamming your parents into throwing in $1000 towards your new car, tell them that if they don't want you driving a stick shift then they should pay the difference between the stick and the auto.....

anyways, just a thought

lol!! nice one!! thx!
I have $6000 max for a 1992-1995 HB, and $2000 aside for a bodykit. ANd finally $2000 for the insurance the $4000 for emergency.

I think it is $1000 if you buy a new civic from honda, but I know that I'm suffering with a slow auto because of my stupidness earlier. Go with manual you'll regret going to auto in the future.
Trust me.

If you have your heart set on 5spd then you should follow that. Otherwise you'll always second guess your choice to go with auto. There is nothing wrong with auto, I might add, if you choose to go that route....just make sure it is want you truly want to do.

Else we'll prolly see you posting questions on how much to convert a tranny from auto to standard in about a year's time...lol
